St. Finbarr’s Ladies F.C. fundraising in memory of Karen Jackson R.I.P.

St. Finbarr’s Ladies Football Club of Drung, County Cavan organised an ambitious fundraising in memory of their much loved club member Karen Jackson. The dual aim of the effort was to produce a new club strip and make a contribution to the Liver Unit in St. Vincent’s. The strip (see the photos below) commemorates Karen with the inclusion of her initials on the sleeve and, very importantly, highlights an appeal for potential organ donors. The €700 committed to the Liver Unit is a huge additional contribution to patient care and research in Liver related illness and transplant.
