Bling Hunters, Frontline Hero Challenge for Covid-19 patient support in St. Vincent’s

In April last year, Wayne O’Driscoll from Bling Hunters set up a Frontline Heroes Challenge, which was a virtual event to fundraise for different hospitals and St. Vincent’s Foundation was invited to participate in this initiative. Bling Hunters put this event together to show support to all the frontline staff for putting their lives at risk every day to keep us safe.

This challenge was a virtual run, walk, treadmill, cycle or any form of exercise where you can record your kilometres. It ran until the end of December 2021.  A number of individuals also set up fundraising pages on iDonate to contribute to this event.

Bling Hunters donated a total of €6,000 and several individual fundraisers raised a total of €3,635.

In summary, we are extremely grateful to Wayne O’Driscoll and all the individual fundraisers who took part in this event for St. Vincent’s and contributed a total of €9,635.00 for this most important cause.
