A Pan Can Golf Classic was held in Blainroe Golf Club on Friday 8th September last to raise funds in support of Pancreatic Cancer care and transplant in St. Vincent’s.
The organisers Liam Holland and Ray McElhinney were outstandingly successful in raising a magnificent total of €9,500 on the day. They have both expressed their gratitude to the many participants and contributors to the success.
Ray and Liam have prioritised pancreatic cancer care and research as both their families have been directly affected by this disease. It is extraordinarily generous of them to seek to have others benefit and to contribute their time and skill to making the fundraising such a success.
